The Sparrow & The Snake
In a lush, quiet meadow, there lived a young sparrow named Maya. Maya had soft, delicate feathers and a melodic chirp that made her the darling of the meadow.
One sunny day, while she was preening herself on a low branch, a sly snake named Seras slithered up to the tree. The snake looked up and admired the beauty of Maya from below. “Dear sparrow,” began Seras, “how lovely you look from down here! But I bet the view is even better from up close. Would you mind coming down to share some stories?”

Maya, who was always cautious, replied, “Thank you for your kind words, Mr. Snake. But I think I can hear you and share stories just as well from here.”
Seras, trying to disguise his disappointment, persisted, “But surely, you would be more comfortable on the ground. Here, the cool grass would caress your tiny feet, and I could offer you some delicious insects to feast upon.”
Maya smiled and replied, “Thank you for the offer. The ground does seem tempting, but I've always felt safer amidst the branches. I believe the world looks just as beautiful from where I am.”
The snake, realizing that he couldn’t persuade the wise little bird, hissed in frustration and went on his way.
