The Lamb & The Fox
On the outskirts of a serene village, a young lamb wandered from its flock, lost in the beauty of the meadows. As it roamed, it heard soft rustling and turned to find a cunning fox watching with hungry eyes.
"Well, hello there," said the fox with feigned politeness, "I've heard tales of your kind's bravery. I have often wondered if a lamb could ever chase away a beast."
The lamb, flattered but cautious, responded, "Thank you, sir. But what brings you here?"

"I came to test a theory," replied the fox slyly. "I've heard that if a lamb sings, it can deter any danger."
The lamb was perplexed but intrigued. "I've never sung before. Do you think I should try?"
The fox nodded. "Yes, I believe it's worth a shot."
As the lamb began to bleat in a melodious rhythm, the fox crept closer, his true intentions becoming clearer. Suddenly, the barks of village dogs echoed nearby, and the fox, alarmed, darted away.
The lamb, realizing the trap, murmured to himself, "Had I not been in the vicinity of the village, my song would've been my last."
