The Young Seahorse & His Father
One sunny day, beneath the shimmering waves, a young seahorse named Sam looked over at his father. He noticed the elegant way the older seahorse glided through the water and said, "Father, if you truly wanted to move quickly and gracefully, you should swim forwards, not just hover around."
His father, a wise old seahorse with many tales of the ocean to tell, replied, "Is that so, my son? Show me then how you swim forward."

Sam tried to demonstrate, but as he attempted to swim straight ahead, he found himself naturally spiraling and hovering just like his father. Each attempt to go directly forward only resulted in the same twisting and turning motions characteristic of seahorses.
Realizing his blunder, the young seahorse looked down, feeling a bit embarrassed. His father, with a gentle smile, said, "It's easy to advise, but sometimes harder to do. Always remember to understand and experience something before criticizing or suggesting an improvement."
